lol remember last year when he was so dedicated and committed that he decided to go to south africa for the world cup last year instead of supporting his teammates in france? if this tie wasn’t in spain on clay, i doubt he would’ve gone, just like he strung the fans along for a week before pulling out of DC against the USA in july

lmao not to be a ~hater~ or anything but this stuff makes me roll my eyes so hard because people act like rafa and roger showing up to davis cup once in a while for publicity’s sake is somehow an indication of dedication and commitment and oh how wonderful~ that these guys are showing their patriotism. please. you want dedication and commitment, look at david ferrer, who has only missed four ties since 2007 and played his heart out ever single time and given 110% even when he loses. everyone’s too focused on rafa to appreciate anything his teammates have done (and nowhere was this more apparent than in the lead-up to the usa quarterfinal) so you can keep your ~dedicated and committed~ nadal, i will be over to the left like a hater stanning for guys who actually ARE  dedicated and committed.
